Introduction

As an Identity Access Manager, CIAM enables a variaty of use cases to be implemented both regarding users onboarding/login and integration methods. In order to start the integration the first steps are to consider and choose for each macroarea:

• How users will be provisioned
• Which login methods will be enabled
• Which authorization flow will be used

Service Provider

Once these decisions have been taken and once the CIAM team has given the approval, next step is the creation of the application in the CIAM platform. In order to create the integration it is necessary to provide one or more callback URLs that will be used to grant the tokens in the login flows.

The callback provided has to match exactly with the one sent in the API calls

Once the callback has been provided, CIAM team will be in charge of the generation of the service provider for the application. After the creation, both client id and secret will be sent. Those credentials can be now used to enable the authentication through the CIAM.
